WooHoo! ~ A milestone!

Well I've finally done it! The scale is in the 100's! This is the first time I've seen a 1 in front of my weight in almost 6 years!!
I'm still using Weight Watchers, but I started the hcg diet a few weeks ago to give me a jump start for our trip in March to Turks and Caicos!
I started the hcg at 218 and today the scale hit 199! I started hcg on Monday, January 31. I'm down 19 pounds in 18 days. Not bad!

It ain't been pretty!! ;-)

So I fell of the wagon and I'm getting ready to climb back in! It's so easy to fall back into bad habits! I'd been doing so well, then I went to Cincinnati and haven't been back on track since.
I'm starting with a group called which starts this Thursday.
I'm the type of person that needs that change and also a good kick in the pants. I'll still follow WW and get back on track with that as well. I'll always need some type of group to keep me accountable. I'm a co-dependant! I've always done better in a group setting. I'm not competitive, just like a group to help keep me going.
There are a few of us that are joining the new session of which starts this Thursday at WOGA. Let me know if you'd like to join us.

In Cincy this week...

...and it's gonna be hard not to eat Skyline everyday! :) Not to mention, Dewey's, Graeter's, Breuger's Bagels and many others!
I started a boot camp right before I left. It was great. Kim, the leader, did a fantastic job. There are 8 of us in the boot camp. When I get back from Cincy I'm going to be kicking it into high gear!

Well what did I expect??!!

The last time, before today, that I weighed in was on February 23rd. I'd gotten a bit off track. Slipped a little bit. I went to my regular WW meeting this AM and had gained +5 pounds. Not as bad as I had thought it would be.
I'm back on track and counting points. I've been back with my trainer, Kim Gowen, for the past few weeks. This truly is a lifestyle change and I'm going to have some ups and downs. It's all good!
One of the girls today was talking about a spin class she has been taking. Kim also suggested this to me. Think I may try it out!

No change

My weight has stayed the same for a couple weeks. No loss, no gain. On a happy note I had my yearly physical and got some good results. A year ago my blood sugar level was a bit elevated. Normal range is between 70 and 100. Mine was at 109. With the weight loss that number is now 83. My BP and cholesterol was within normal range as well.
Sometimes it's not just about the numbers on the scale. I'm feeling so much better and am quit pleased with the blood work results.
Hopefully next week I'll have a pound or two loss to share. :)

Wow this year is flying by... is it already the end of February?? Easter is right around the corner. Summer will be here all too quickly and I need to get back on track.
I've been loosing and gaining the same 4 pounds for a few weeks now. I went to my weekly meeting yesterday and was somehow shockingly down another pound. The Girl Scout Cookies didn't kill me (yet)!
I know I need to get back to exercising, but I truly just don't like it. I'd much rather do nothing and lose weight, but I know that's not possible. I need to get back with Kim (my trainer and friend) and get back into the gym. As much as I dread it I MUST do it! I truly want to lose another 40+ pounds and can't do that on just diet alone.
Maybe I should try some classes?? Any ideas anyone?

Back on the horse!

I was down -4.4 lbs this week. I'd kinda fallen off the wagon or horse, but I'm BACK! This is a journey.....I will have ups and downs along the way and that's OK. I want this to be an enjoyable experience, otherwise I will not succeed. It's going to take me a while to get to goal (which is about 150 lbs, -96 lbs) and that is fine with me. I'm just about half way there! They say the slower you take it off the better chance you have at keeping it off. I've lost -47 since September 1.

Eat healthy & lose weight, eat poorly & gain....GO FIGURE!!

I was up 2 pounds last week and 2 pounds this week. It started when I went on a scrapbooking weekend. The meals were provided and oh sooo good. There were snacks galore. I knew going into the weekend that I'd be up and that was OK. Sometimes you just gotta have fun.

Well that "habit" continued into this last week. My mom is still here visiting and we enjoy going out with friends for lunch or dinner sometimes. When we go to the grocery store the guacamole and chips just call our names!

No excuses and I'm back on track now. I've already lost 2 of the 4 I gained. This is a lifestyle change and sometimes it's OK to let loose and have fun....Right??? At least that's what I'm telling myself! It's a new need to beat myself up over the last two weeks.

Down -3.8

Last week I didn't gain or lose. This week I was down -3.8. That's a total of -42 on Weight Watchers and -47 total!
I got a couple gift cards for Coldwater Creek for Christmas and I've had fun buying some new clothes! I was able to buy size 14 jeans....I had been in a size 20.
